Lis Mendez
Lis knows this journey firsthand. Born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, she experienced the challenges of learning English, French, and Haitian Creole. Through immersive techniques, goal-setting, and finding safe spaces to practice, she turned language learning into an enjoyable and successful process—one she now shares with her students.
Since 2018, Lis has helped hundreds of learners navigate the unique nuances of Caribbean Spanish, offering structured support tailored to real-life conversations. With a deep understanding of both English and Spanish, she helps students overcome common learning obstacles with clarity and ease.
